Light Peanut Butter Cookies
These peanut butter cookies have a light peanut butter taste and are very quick and easy to make.This recipe yields about 30 cookies.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup smooth peanut butter, light
- 1 large egg
- 1/3 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 375F/190C and grease a baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, mix together peanut butter, brown sugar, and butter until light and creamy.
- Slowly add egg, milk, and vanilla until well combined.
- Combing the flour, baking soda, and baking powder and add to butter mixture, mixing well.
- Drop rounded teaspoons of the cookie dough onto baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for about 12 minutes, or until cookies are light golden.
- Let stand on baking sheet for 10 minutes, then move to wire rack to cool.
