The best chocolate chip cookie recipe I have ever tried! These are so delicious, I have already made them for the last few family gatherings. Your search for the perfect recipe ends here! Make them and try them for yourself.

No joke, this really is the best recipe. One of the ways I judge an excellent cookie to to bake a few cookies without chocolate chips to test how good the base of the cookie tastes. Ooooh. Trust me, it is great. I loved them his way. Try it!

Also, this recipe proves to be a favorite among both my husband and I who have very different tastes. For me, I like mine a bit crispy so that I may soak in milk, and my husband loves them think and chewy. What is great is that I can cook both styles of cookies with the same recipe at the same time by varying the size of the cookie. Simply by making some smaller, I have my crispy cookies, and for him, I scoop the dough into bigger drops, but don't compress them to form a perfect ball, and magically, they come out nice and chewy, all on the same pan!

The only suggested I would make is to add 1/2 a teaspoon of salt. With a full teaspoon, there was an ever so slight after taste of salt (but I do have a very sensitive pallet). Otherwise, this recipe is perfect.
